It is located in Porto Cristo, on the east coast of Mallorca, within the municipality of Manacor, Mallorca, which is named after the landing of a boat carrying a Christ figure who, in the middle of a storm, promised to donate the Christ and the Virgin if they survived. From the lighthouse, you can see Porto Cristo and its port. The site is near a tower that served as a lookout to warn of pirate arrivals on the coast. The tower appears on the town's coat of arms.

This beacon, with a white cylindrical structure with black stripes, has a support height of 6 meters and a focal plane at 20 meters above sea level. It emits a white light with a nominal night range of 7 nautical miles, featuring a flash characteristic of 0.5 seconds followed by an eclipse of 4.5 seconds, in a total cycle of 5 seconds.
