The idea and its objectives
The Asociación Galega de Actividades Náuticas-AGAN+ has been working for over 20 years from Galicia to promote nautical activities for everyone. It sought the collaboration of the Xunta de Galicia through the port management entity Portos de Galicia, the department responsible for the development of maritime culture, the Tourism Promotion department, and the Alto Minho territory in Portugal, which is a reference in the development and enhancement of nautical activities, to develop a cross-border cooperation project called ECODESTIN, which was funded with ERDF funds from the European Union. www.ecodestin.com
All these entities, both public and private, have joined forces to bring the territory closer from the sea by promoting the creation of tourist routes that include a nautical activity and a cultural or nature activity on land, through protected areas to offer tourist navigation for all audiences and open nautical activities to everyone and tourists.
With this initiative, the aim is to offer a platform that helps destinations become Nautical and Cultural Destinations, tourists to discover the territory from a new vision and way, and local entrepreneurs to create nautical cultural packages and routes that they can offer from this space.
This platform is complemented by other tools to facilitate everyone’s enjoyment of the destination.<\/strong><\/p>

The Muros and Noia estuary, in the province of A Coruña, is the westernmost estuary of the Rías Baixas, characterized by its rugged landscape and charming fishing villages.
