Cruceiro of the Adro of San Cibrao das Viñas

At the entrance to the atrium of the Church of San Ildefonso, in San Cibrao das Viñas, there is a beautiful cruceiro. It is placed on a platform of three steps, with a truncated cone-shaped pedestal and, above it, a slender shaft with a decorative ring at mid-height and topped with a simple capital. The cross is carved to imitate the texture of a trunk and features the figure of the crucified Christ on the front and the Virgin of Sorrows on the back. At the ends of the arms of the cross, there are decorative medallions.

In front of the Church of San Ildefonso, in San Cibrao das Viñas, there is a very special stone cross called a cruceiro. It stands on three steps and has a base and a long shaft that ends in a cross. On one side of the cross is Jesus, and on the other, the Virgin. Additionally, there are decorative circles on the arms of the cross.
