The Parque del río Rato is a restored natural area that is part of the Terras do Miño Biosphere Reserve. It starts at the A Chanca bridge and runs through an environment of great environmental value and a biodiversity corridor that crosses fields, orchards, and native forests.
It has a bike lane and pedestrian path with urban furniture, bridges, fountains, and small waterfalls.
It includes the Interpretation Center of the Reserve, located in a restored mill, which offers an audiovisual exhibition on ethnography, history, and water culture in the region, providing educational and recreational value.
