Discover Plentzia and its Region

Uncover forgotten treasures and stories of the town's sailors and those from other localities in Uribe Kosta. The journey of Plasentia de Butrón began to take shape in 1994. People connected to the sea started collecting objects and stories that have contributed to enriching what we now know as the Plasentia de Butrón Museum or Plentzia Museum.

From nautical instruments to logbooks, found Roman coins, sculptures, artworks, and even personal letters, the museum's collection grew until the art gallery opened in 1998. Today, more than 1,450 pieces form the collection of donated objects and experiences, which you can find exhibited in the Museum.
