Badón Castle, also known as "Castellet," is an ancient fortress located in Fayón, Zaragoza. Built on a rocky promontory, its origin possibly dates back to the Islamic period, although it was rebuilt between the 12th and 14th centuries by the Moncada family to control navigation on the Ebro River. During the Carlist Wars in the 19th century, defensive modifications were made, such as the adaptation of loopholes for rifle use. Currently, remains of a rectangular tower and sections of the wall are preserved, and it has been declared a Property of Cultural Interest as an archaeological zone.
