The Barbantes Thermal Area, inaugurated in 2013 in the parish of A Barca de Barbantes (Cenlle, Ourense), is an outdoor thermal facility composed of three pools of mineromedicinal water, with temperatures ranging between 21 and 28 °C. The waters, with weak mineralization, bicarbonated, alkaline, sodium, magnesium, and chlorinated, are indicated for skin, arthritic, and rheumatic treatments. The site offers complementary services such as showers, restrooms, a bar, green areas with picnic tables and trees, as well as free parking and an area adapted for motorhomes. Additionally, the surroundings feature a 4.7 km riverside walk and a sports orientation circuit, integrating the thermal offer with recreational and sports activities in a privileged natural setting on the banks of the Miño.
