The Chapel of San Roque de Punxín is a small rectangular building made of irregular granite ashlar and covered with a gabled roof. The main façade stands out for its large entrance door with a double semicircular arch, flanked by two small windows (bufardas) with internal splay. The ensemble is topped with a bell gable with a single opening and a stone cross. Inside, there is a simple wooden altarpiece featuring the image of San Roque. On one of the exterior sides, the inscription “AÑO 1703” indicates the chapel's construction date. It is a tradition that on the night of San Roque (August 15 to 16), the women of the village sleep inside the chapel.
