The Church of Santa Cristina is a temple that combines Romanesque and Neoclassical elements, originally dated to the 12th century and renovated in the 19th century. It features a rectangular floor plan and walls of banded granite ashlar, with an upper molding that accompanies the gabled roof. On the main façade, the arched entrance door stands out, richly decorated, above which there is an inscription with the construction date. Above it is a now empty niche and, on both sides, rectangular windows. At the top, circular moldings mark the start of the bell gable, flanked by pinnacles with balls. The two-tiered bell gable has two openings for bells on the first level and a single arch on the second, both topped with lateral pinnacles. The ensemble culminates with a pinnacle and a metal cross. Inside, a Renaissance cross stands out, which is carried in procession during the patron saint festivals, accompanying the images of Santa Cristina and Santa Mariña, patrons of the parish.

Its main door is very beautiful, with a decorated arch and an inscription that tells when it was built. Above the door, there is a niche where there used to be a figure, and on the sides, little windows. At the very top, there is a bell gable, which is like a small tower where the bells are, and it ends with a metal cross. Inside the church, there is a very old and beautiful cross that goes out in processions during the festivals, along with the images of Santa Cristina and Santa Mariña, who are the patrons of the town.
