To learn more

This temple features a rectangular floor plan with a single nave, built with worked and squared granite ashlar.

The roof is made of slate with a gable design, except for the main chapel, which has a hip roof.

On the main facade, there is a pointed arch entrance door, above which is an oculus with an internal splay.

The structure is topped with a two-tier bell gable: the lower tier has two openings for bells and the upper tier has a single opening, crowned by an iron cross.

The church is part of the archpriestship of Cotos Lugo Derecha and is dedicated to Santa María Magdalena.

Near the temple is the parish cemetery, reinforcing its central role in the religious and social life of the local community.
