About this heritage

This town has several places of great interest such as the Castillo de la Duquesa-Municipal Archaeological Museum of Manilva. The castle was built to protect the plaza during the war against England. It was in the year 1776. It is installed over Roman remains, and much of the museum's exhibits come from that site. It also has collections from the Late Bronze Age site. It is a great experience to walk through prehistoric, Roman, and Medieval cultures.
