The Interactive Museum of History of Lugo (MIHL) is an innovative cultural space that traces the history of Lugo from its Roman foundation to the present day.
Among its most notable elements is the founding monolith of Lucus Augusti, erected by Paulo Fabio Máximo in honor of Emperor Augustus, along with other objects of interest.
Its avant-garde building is an architectural attraction in itself, being an international benchmark of contemporary design.
The MIHL combines audiovisual resources, archaeological pieces, and also hosts temporary exhibitions and educational and cultural activities, establishing itself as a driving center for the heritage and historical memory of Lugo.
