Los Azulejos de Gran Canaria are a set of volcanic and sedimentary strata exhibiting a phenomenon called bentonite, resulting from the hydrothermal alteration of rocks. This alteration produces striking colors that make this spot a highly visited photographic site. It is located alongside the GC-200 road, where there is also a small ferruginous water spring and easy access to stop and enjoy the natural surroundings.
