The Outariz Thermal Baths, located on the right bank of the Miño River about 5 km from the center of Ourense, constitute the largest private thermal complex in Galicia and a benchmark of contemporary thermalism in the northwest of the Iberian Peninsula. The facility, inspired by the Japanese onsen tradition, offers a circuit of more than a dozen outdoor and indoor pools with hyperthermal waters (around 60 °C), with weak mineralization, alkaline, sulfurous, and fluoridated, indicated for dermatological, rheumatological conditions and relaxation processes.
