The Railway Museum in Mora la Nova occupies several buildings of the old railway complex, as well as others of new construction. It is designed to showcase the old railway facilities, the Directos line that connects Barcelona and Madrid, and railway culture in a broad sense. It is being developed in different phases and currently four well-differentiated spaces are visitable, each focused on a different theme: the Enclave Tower, the turntable bridge, the rolling stock workshop, and the tourist historic train shed. The Railway Museum in Móra la Nova is part of the Territorial System of mNACTEC and also features a tourist train circuit. Among the most interesting pieces in the collection is the star Locomotive 241F-2238 from the 1950s-60s.

In this museum you can see real locomotives, old and modern, some still working! It is located in an old train station where many railway workers used to work many years ago. You can board a little train, visit a tower where they controlled the tracks, and see how trains were turned on a large round platform. You will also learn about the locomotive 241F-2238, a giant machine that ran from Barcelona to Madrid!
