The San Roque Archaeological Center is a complex linked to the ancient Roman road XIX, comprising remains of a necropolis active for five centuries including two tombs, a ritual pond, and a late ceramic kiln.

Next to it is a large cult pond from the 1st century AD, built in opus caementicium, possibly related to complex religious practices, even with influences from Eastern cults, as suggested by the decorative reliefs.

Additionally, the discovery of a ceramic kiln indicates the transformation of this area into an industrial space in the 5th century AD.

This complex provides key information about the funerary, religious, and productive evolution in Roman Lugo, constituting a heritage resource of great historical and archaeological interest.
