This cultural and nautical itinerary is linked to the ancient trade routes of the Phoenicians in search of the tin found on the Casterides Islands, one of which would be the Cíes Islands. The Cíes Islands are part of the only National Park in Galicia called the Maritime-Terrestrial National Park of the Atlantic islands. This itinerary is made in a sailing boat. We will be able to enjoy the landscape and the panoramic views and, with the help of the viewpoints from the sea augmented-reality application, we will enjoy the Cíes Islands and their paradisiacal beaches.
Around 3,000 years ago, a group of Phoenicians left from the current Lebanese coast and sailed to the Atlantic coast of the Iberian Peninsula, to end up trading with the Celtic peoples in the lands of present-day Galicia. One of the evidences of this passage is found in the Rías Baixas, in the Punic temple of the coastal castro (traditional military fortress) of Punta de Muíño, in Vigo.
