About this port

The pier is located on the Ebro River in the municipality of Ribarroja, inside the Flix reservoir. It is situated in a privileged natural environment, ideal for fishing and other water sports. From here, you can enjoy the waters of the Flix Reservoir and engage in a wide range of nautical activities. Likewise, its natural surroundings invite hiking and full enjoyment of nature. An area with unique biodiversity and an exceptional body of water. Water activities are the main attraction. The pier is located on the right bank of the Ebro River, east of Ribarroja. The pier is near the Club Nautic de Ribarroja, just before entering the city. The port has a series of medium and small-sized pontoons. The club offers catering services.

Ribarroja de Ebro is the first population center encountered on the Ebro upon entering Catalonia. Its medieval ensemble, which developed around the Templar castle, was at the forefront of the fight against the Saracens. The historical evolution of the area, with traces of the aforementioned Templars—and later the Hospitallers—and the Saracens, has shaped the town, where, besides the castle remains, the jail, the mill, and the Pena viewpoint stand out, along with several 17th-century portals. The riverbank strip constitutes one of the best silhouettes of the population centers located on the banks of the Ebro. The area hosts several manor houses of interest, such as Can Janot and Casa Morício. The Calvary and the Roca de la Campana viewpoint are located in the old town. The Ribarroja reservoir, which includes the lock and the hydroelectric plant completed in 1966, is one of the most notable spots in the context of sport fishing, both in terms of uniqueness and abundance. The reservoir's surroundings, surrounded by a conglomerate of mountains, valleys, ravines, and beautiful river inlets, host varied ecosystems and also allow for sailing, rowing, or canoeing.
