About this port

The port of Combarro is in the Pontevedra Estuary. It is a privileged position surrounded by magnificent beaches and very close to the Islands of the Galician Atlantic Islands Maritime-Terrestrial National Park. It has a Captaincy and service-to-users building and 334 berths with fingers ready for 16, 18, 20, and 26 meters in length vessels. They also provide numerous services. Marina Combarro is a five-star marina, awarded with The PIANC Marina Excellence Design ‘Jack Nichol’ Award, accredited by the British Yacht Harbour Association with 5 Gold Anchors, the highest distinction a marina can have for service and facilities. Combarro is an excellent anchorage frequented by the many boats that anchor around it.

Route and approach instructions

Towards the interior of the Pontevedra Estuary, we find the beaches of Mala Peste and Área Barca. There are well known and dangerous zones for navigation, such as the Ouriceira stone, the Malmuros stones, and the Chancelas Point with a reef to the south. The southern tip of Chancelas Point is called Aguillón Point, and towards it, we have the westernmost area of Tambo Island.

On our bow, we have the Combarro and Campelo inlets. We must always remember that we are in an area with shallow draught and sandy bottoms. A multitude of mussel rafts anchor here. It is essential to remember that where the rafts anchor, there is a draught.

Combarro Port has two docks; the powerful one serves as a breakwater, on which they have several service buildings, and the northern dock is smaller and with little depth.
