It is located to the north of the Municipality of Escatrón very close to the Azud of the same name. It is the last stretch of the Ebro that is navigable exclusively by rowing. After the weir, the river is navigable by motorboats. The environment is located within the Mar de Aragón Fishing Reserve. Escatrón is a paradise for sport fishing. The Ebro has flow and calm waters as well as rocks and rapids beyond the dam. It is the tail of the Mequinenza reservoir. It is an ideal space for fishing zander, carp, black bass, bleak, bream, catfish, and the king of the Ebro: the wels catfish. Escatrón is one of the best places for wels catfish fishing.
The dock is located on the right bank of the Ebro river. At the foot of the Ebro river and opposite the Rueda monastery, is the Hostal Restaurante “Club Náutico” of Escatrón, a newly built building serving as a hostel for overnight stays, bar restaurant, with boat equipment for all kinds of river sports, rowing in kayaks, canoes, and other sports equipment to enjoy and explore the slopes, take a great ride on its waters and enjoy and glide over its water surface created thanks to the weir.
