The dock is located on the Matarraña River just a few kilometers from the urban center of the municipality of Fayón. It is situated in a privileged natural environment, ideal for fishing and other water sports. From here, you can enjoy the waters of the Riba-Roja Reservoir and engage in a wide variety of nautical activities. Likewise, its natural surroundings invite hiking and full enjoyment of nature.
The dock is located on the left bank of the Matarraña River south of Fayón. The “La Reixaga” Dock is the departure point for the “Llaüt de Fayón,” a tourist boat that offers guided tours of the reservoir. Additionally, it serves as a meeting point for nautical and fishing activities.
It features a large parking area, fishing shelter, pontoons for mooring boats, an extensive area of freshwater fishing spots, and a ramp for launching boats.
It is also the location of the fishing shelter, where the social headquarters of the Fayón Fishermen’s Association is situated.
There is parking available for cars and buses. Overnight stays are strictly prohibited.

- Fayón is a paradise for fishing and water sports. The history of this small border town with Catalan lands is marked by the construction of the Ribarroja reservoir, formed by the union of the Ebro and Matarraña rivers. The construction of the reservoir led to the flooding of the old Fayón in the 1960s. The town was submerged under the reservoir, except for the beautiful tower of the San Juan church, which today silently emerges from the waters. Following this event, the new Fayón was built atop a hill. Its streets, straight and long, with low houses, lead to the porticoed Main Square, with modernist airs, as does the church, with its slender concrete tower. Nearby is an incredible viewpoint where the Virgin of Pilar hermitage is located. From there, you can see the panoramic view formed by the reservoir complex, the mouth of the Matarraña River, and the mountains surrounding the basin. You can also see, atop a hill, the remains of the castle that crowned the old Fayón. But what truly defines Fayón’s tourist offer are the leisure opportunities provided by its reservoir. Its more than 210 kilometers of inland coastline and its riparian forests make Fayón a true paradise for fishing—species such as catfish, carp, and black bass abound—and the ideal setting for all kinds of water sports (canoeing, water skiing, sailing…).
