The surroundings of the San Bartolomeo dock are characterized by the presence of the Miño River and the terraced vineyards that cover the mountain slopes. This viticultural landscape not only offers exceptional scenic beauty but also reflects the effort and tradition associated with grape cultivation and harvesting. During the harvest, the difficulties of transporting on slopes become evident, partially resolved by the tracks installed on the hillsides, used to lower the grapes to the river, from where they are more comfortably transported to the wineries for processing. The ensemble formed by the San Bartolomeo church and the bridge that connects the two riverbanks adds a unique heritage and landscape value to this site.

From the San Bartolomeo dock, it is possible to travel sections of the Miño River on guided or recreational routes, enjoying its terraced vineyards, natural viewpoints, and spaces of great cultural interest. These routes can extend to the Belesar reservoir or even reach the Os Peares reservoir, where the Miño and Sil rivers converge.
