The marina of the Real Club Náutico Rodeira is very safe. It is located in the heart of the town of Cangas, a quintessential maritime and tourist area. It has 6 lines of pontoons with 269 berths for vessels between 6 and 20 meters in length. The mooring is bow-in and the securing is to fingers. Route and approach instructions

The Cangas marina is located on the northern coast of the Vigo estuary, between Cabo Balea and Punta Rodeira. Once past the Borneira shoals, marked by a white and red tower to its northeast, lies Punta Balea, the gateway to the Cangas de Morrazo cove, with a width of 1.2 meters and a depth from the bearing 058º between Balea and Rodeira of 0.7 meters.

At Punta Balea, a small islet and the ruins of an old factory with a non-navigable pier stand out. The entrance to the port is clear, approached as with all ports in the Vigo estuary, via the main channel and heading north, identifying buoy number 8 of Salgueirón. This shoal is precisely the only obstacle you may encounter.

You can leave the buoy to port or starboard, and sailing north you will have the tip of the pier ahead. The other dangerous point is further inside the estuary, the Rodeira shoals, also marked by another buoy. Once you round the outer shelter pier, you will find the fishing dock to port and the marina to the north of the inner pier.
