Among the natural wonders of southern Mallorca, we find the islet of Na Moltona, located off the coast of Mallorca, specifically in front of Playa de Es Carbó in the municipality of Las Salinas, Balearic Islands.

Characterized by a fairly flat topography and a length of approximately 300 meters from north to south and 360 meters from east to west, Na Moltona features a rocky coastal landscape with a small beach on the northeast side. The island is distinguished by remains from the Talayotic period, witnesses to the passage of ancient civilizations.

The predominant vegetation on the eastern part consists of oleanders, mastic trees, buckthorns, and junipers, while the western part is drier and characterized solely by the presence of lygeum.

Regarding fauna, despite the modest size of the islet, it is possible to find a considerable population of rabbits and the presence of a particular species of Balearic lizard, Podarcis lilfordi jordansi, exclusive to Na Moltona and the islet of Na Guardis. Additionally, the waters south of the island are a nesting area for numerous gulls, offering a true display of Mediterranean biodiversity.
