The Leisure Dock and Pontoon of Senhora da Cabeça is a river structure equipped with 10 docking stations, located on the Minho River, in the Cristelo-Côvo parish, a community strongly associated with fishermen and traditional fishing of river lamprey and shad. The typical vessels of the area, known as “Carocho”, still operate around this pier.

Floating installation on stilts with five fingers and capacity for 10 boats up to 6 meters in length in fingers and one of 8 meters bent. It is connected to the ground by a walkway with a locked access door.
It has no surveillance, water or electricity. The onshore facility appears abandoned.
Its use as a transit point is currently not viable due to the possibility of disembarking ashore.
Navigation along the river will be carried out looking for the meander and the wp: Oliveira, Carnero and Ovejas, the most important lowlands of the Miño, as well as the traffic of canoeists and rowers training in this area.
In all those of the Miño it is very convenient to remember the constant vigilance on possible ofnis (unidentified floating objects) such as possible logs etc. mainly after moments of rain that drags the current between waters.
