Nilva Wine Experience – Wine and Tapas

Manilva-Sabinillas is a municipality with numerous vineyards and stories linked to wine, which is why this is one of the main tourist experiences offered to visitors. Thus, we offer this initiative by the company Nilva Enoturismo, which is wheelchair accessible and offers the possibility of an English-speaking guide. It lasts two hours. The visit includes a tour of the CIVIMA winery, the Nilva winery and vineyard, where a wine tasting will be offered, and the views turn the location into a true balcony overlooking the Mediterranean.

The predominant grape variety is Muscat of Alexandria. The company's goal is to save these vineyards. The guided tours are directed to the Manilva Vineyards Interpretation Center (CIVIMA), which has three rooms to learn about the local wine culture. Likewise, Nilva has an artisanal winery to learn in detail how the wines are made. This is the second stop on the wine route. Then, together with the guide, visitors head to Viña del Peñoncillo, certified as organic farming, where wines and tapas are tasted, with the gift of watching the sunset in these surroundings. The company's project 'Save the Vineyards of Manilva' has received the international Skal Award for Sustainable Tourism.

The route includes pick-up and transfer to the hotel (or coastal cruise). The meeting point is CIVIMA, located between the Fire Station and the Plaza de la Vendimia.
