The Pazo de Piñor, traditionally known as Casa dos Lemos, is located just 3-4 kilometers from the city of Ourense, between the places known as As Quintas and O Hospitaliño, in the parish of San Lourenzo de Piñor. Its origin dates back to the early 16th century, starting from the house of a well-off peasant named Pero García de Pazos. The subsequent owners were those who built the current building, whose main structure dates from the second third of the 16th century, although it retains elements from the 18th and 19th centuries, with the agricultural dependencies belonging to the latter. On the exterior, its two tall and slender chimneys, the doors, and the perimeter enclosure stand out, allowing a view of the interior facades. Inside, a beautiful granite staircase in the Compostelan Baroque style stands out. The garden is very well preserved thanks to the building still being inhabited, and the current residents continue with rehabilitation and improvement work.

The Pazo de Piñor, also called Casa dos Lemos, is an old and large house located very close to Ourense, in the countryside. Many years ago, in the 16th century, a peasant named Pero García de Pazos lived there and, over time, his family and other owners built the house we see today. The pazo has two very tall chimneys, a beautiful garden, and a very special stone staircase. The house is surrounded by a wall and, since people still live there, they take great care of it and are gradually restoring it.

The main structure, from the second third of the 16th century, retains several original sections and has been expanded with elements from the 18th and 19th centuries, highlighting the agricultural dependencies from the latter. Externally, two stylized chimneys, the doors, and the low perimeter enclosure stand out, allowing a partial view of the interior facades. Inside, there is a notable granite staircase, representative of the Compostelan plate Baroque style. The garden, in excellent condition, and the ongoing rehabilitation efforts by the current residents contribute to the preservation and enhancement of the complex.
